Our caregivers provide services 24/7, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Our administrative office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, we have an on-call supervisor available around the clock for urgent needs or emergencies.

Every caregiver undergoes a rigorous screening process including:

• Comprehensive background checks (criminal, employment, and reference verification)
• Professional certification verification (CNA, HHA, or equivalent)
• Skills assessment and competency testing
• TB testing and health screenings
• Ongoing training in CPR, first aid, dementia care, and infection control
• Annual recertification and continuing education requirements

We understand that personal compatibility is essential for quality care. If for any reason the initial match isn't perfect, simply let us know and we'll assign a different caregiver at no additional cost. We have a diverse team with various personalities, backgrounds, and specialties to ensure we find the right fit for your family.

We typically begin care within 48 hours of completing the initial assessment. In urgent situations, we can often start same-day or next-day service. The timeline depends on factors like caregiver availability, insurance authorization (if applicable), and the complexity of care needs.

We offer flexible scheduling with a minimum of 2 hours per visit for most services. This allows sufficient time for quality care and meaningful interaction. We can customize visit frequency and duration based on your specific needs—from a few hours weekly to 24-hour live-in care.

We maintain backup caregivers for every client to ensure continuity of care. If your regular caregiver is unavailable, we'll send a qualified substitute who has been briefed on your loved one's care plan and preferences. We notify you in advance whenever possible and ensure seamless transitions.

We take privacy and safety extremely seriously:

• All caregivers sign confidentiality agreements and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Personal and medical information is stored securely and shared only with authorized individuals
• Caregivers are trained in fall prevention, emergency response, and infection control
• We conduct regular home safety assessments

Our non-medical caregivers can provide medication reminders but cannot administer medications or perform medical procedures like wound care, injections, or catheter changes. For skilled nursing tasks, we can refer you to our trusted home health agency partners or arrange for RN visits as part of a coordinated care plan.

Costs vary based on the level of care needed, visit duration, and scheduling. We offer competitive hourly rates for private pay clients. No, we do not require long-term contracts for private pay clients. We understand that care needs can change, and we offer flexible month-to-month service with no cancellation fees. You can adjust your schedule or discontinue services with appropriate notice (typically one week).
